Short introduction of Chinese companies
Shanghai Green Energy Offshore Wind Developer
The developer built the first Chinese offshore wind project--Shanghai East Bridge Offshore Wind Project. The developer will start a 1,000MW offshore wind project locate at Shanghai in the following two years.
SPIC (State Power Investment Corporation)
SPIC is one of the five largest state owned-electricity producers in China. It’s engaged in development, investment, construction, operation and management of power plants and power generation in twenty-seven Chinese provinces, supplying approximately 10% of the country’s electricity. As a holding company, SPIC holly owns or controls a vast structure of subsidiaries, including 48 companies at the second-tier level, among which are 4publicly listed companies. SPIC is central state-owned enterprise administrated by the SASAC for the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.
SPIC’s newly installation capacity was 178 MW in 2016, accounting 7.6%OEM market share. It’s accumulated installation capacity was 1183MW, occupying 7% OEM market share. It’s accumulated offshore wind installation capacity in 2016 was 1402 MW, ranking the 3rd in he world.
GoldWind
GoldWind is an international, multi-faceted wind power company based out of Beijing, China. Godwind was founded in 1998 in Urumqi, Xinjiang and became a joint stock limited liability company in 2001. With strong international R&D capabilities and extensive experience in the wind farm development, Goldwind has become a global leader in manufacturing wind turbine generators (WTG’s) and provider of comprehensive wind power solutions. Export and Offshore Wind will be the two expanding focus.
Goldwind’s newly installation capacity was 6343 MW in 2016, occupying 27% OEM market share. Its accumulated installation capacity was 37480 MW, occupying 22.2% OEM market share. In 2016, its accumulated offshore wind installation capacity was 167 MW, occupying 10.2% OEM market share, ranking the 4th in the world market.
Shanghai Electric
Shanghai Electric Windpower Equipment Co., Ltd. is specialized in R&D, design, manufacture and technical consultancy as well as general contracting of large-scale wind turbines. The Company was established in September 2006 with its head office located in Shanghai Zizhu Science-based Industrial Park.
Shanghai Electric’s newly installation capacity was 1727 MW in 2016, occupying 7% OEM market share. Its accumulated installation capacity was 9060 MW, occupying 5.4% OEM market share. In 2016, its accumulated offshore wind installation capacity was 948 MW, occupying 58.3% OEM market share, ranking the first in the whole market.
Envision Energy
Envision Energy is one of the largest Chinese offshore turbine suppliers in China. With the world’s most stable and reliable system integrated with transmission chains and components, Envision Energy’s 4 MW offshore turbine caters to the development of offshore wind power. Envision Energy’s newly installation capacity was 2003 MW in 2016, occupying 9% OEM market share. Its accumulated installation capacity was 8900 MW, occupying 5.3% OEM market share. In 2016, its accumulated offshore wind installation capacity was 181 MW, occupying 11.2% OEM market share, ranking the second in the whole market.
Guangdong province
In the past 6 months, Guangdong province offshore wind marketing change a lot. Guangdong province plan to finish 2,000MW offshore wind project construction before year 2020 and plan to start 12,000MW offshore wind project construction before year 2020. Guangdong province has planned 68,000MW offshore wind project.
