Film: The Big Easy at BAaD

What time will the doors open?

The doors will open at 18:00 for everyone with tickets including a Cajun-themed meal, and at 19:30 for tickets that only include the film screening and the after party.

What time will the film actually start?

The Big Easy will begin at 20:00. Audience should take their seats approx.10 minutes prior to this.

What will be happening at the event in addition to the film screening?

Everyone with tickets that include a Cajun-themed meal will be expected to arrive at 18:00, to ensure enough time to eat before the film screening starts. For any dietary requirements and meal questions, please contact BAaD directly via phone: 0141 237 9220.

For tickets that only include the film screening and after party, the doors open at 19:30 for pre-screening drinks. The film screening will be followed by a concert with Cajun music, a dance performance and a Cajun dance party.

When will the film end?

The Big Easy is 1 hour and 42 minutes long and will finish at approx. 21:45.

When will I be required to vacate the venue?

The audience will be asked to leave at 00:45.

Ticket sales at the GFT Box Office end at 16:00 on the day of the event. Ticket collection will be available at BAaD from 18:00 onwards.

Will you be selling tickets at the door?

If our event does not sell out, then tickets will be available to buy on the door. However, we have held similar events to this one before and they have nearly all sold out. We advise you to book your tickets as soon as possible.

Will there be food for sale at the event?

The 18:00 ticket will include a Cajun-themed meal at BAaD. There will not be any food available for ticket holders with tickets for the screening and after party only. Food will not be available for purchase, and you will not be able to arrive early and pay for the meal due to limited capacity.

Will there be alcohol for sale at the event?

Yes, there will be a licenced bar at the venue with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Are there any age restrictions for this event?

The Big Easy is a certificate 15, but due to alcohol being served at the location, no one under 18 will be admitted. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to prove that you are aged 18 or over before you are given access to the event.

Can I reserve a seat?

All seats are unreserved, unless otherwise stated.

Are latecomers admitted?

Late entry to the events is at the discretion of the Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator reserves the right of admission and their decision is final.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds will only be made in the case of cancellation of the event.
