Event Eligibility:
This is a Level 2 development event for any competitor 12th Mon and below.
Competitors must be over 8 and under 16 on the day of the event.
NO VALID LICENCE - NO CONTEST – NO EXCEPTIONS
SECTIONS, GRADES & WEIGHT GROUPS:
Section 1 Boys - Novice to 6th Mon: u27kg, u30kg, u34kg, u38kg, u42kg, u46kg, u50kg, u55kg, u60kg, u66kg, u73kg and over 73kg
Section 2 Girls – Novice to 6th Mon: u25kg, u28kg, u32kg, u36kg, u40kg, u44kg, u48kg, u52, u57 and over 57kg
Section 3 Boys - 7th Mon to 12th Mon: u27kg, u30kg, u34kg, u38kg, u42kg, u46kg, u50kg, u55kg, u60kg, u66kg, u73kg, and over 73kg
Section 4 Girls – 7th Mon to 12th Mon: u32kg, u36kg, u40kg, u44kg, u48kg, u52kg, u57kg, u63kg, and over 63kg
The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine or alter categories should entries dictate. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Tournament Director will be final.
Format: The British Judo Association rules will apply throughout the competition. The method of competition will be compound knockout in categories of 8 or more players and pools and crossover in categories of 7 players or less.
Weigh- in: An open weigh-in will take place for all players. All competitors MUST present themselves wearing competition acceptable judogi trousers and a plain white t-shirt for the females. Boys will receive a 0.5kg allowance, and girls a 0.6kg allowance.
Weigh-in Times: Group 2 & 4 GIRLS: 08:30 to 09:15
Group 1 BOYS: 09:30 to 10:30
Group 3 BOYS: 13:00 to 14:00
Entry Fee: £15.00 per entry
Spectators Fee: £3.00 per adult (to be paid on the day on entry into the hall)

Photography: By entering or attending this competition please note you are agreeing to accept the BJA policy in respect of photography and video usage. The use of photographic equipment is permitted; however should a request be made for you to stop, then you should respect the wishes of others.
Note: If a player is graded and this grading leads to a change in the players colour of belt, you must inform the competition organizer in writing before the day as this can change group sizes and could mean a change of weigh in time for the player.
Coaches: Coaches MUST produce and display their own VALID BJA Coach Award card in person in order to be eligible to coach matside
