Board Minutes from October 27, 2008

Called to order at 7:00 pm

Present at meeting: Ken Alexandria, Bob Condon, Ray Anderson, Dick Scherber, Bruce Dilley, Alice Heinbuch, Gidget Leverty and Dennis Holtz

Approval of Minutes from the September board meeting: Bruce made a motion to approve the minutes; Dick 2nd motion. Motion approved

Treasurer report: Bruce stated that there is $35,730.26 in the money market account and $19,861.55 in the check book. Bills have been paid. Bob Condon made a motion to approve report; Dennis 2nd motion. Motion approved.

Went over the 2009 Budget questions were asked and this budget will be presented two weeks before the Spring Annual meeting.

Old Business:

Roof and Siding completion & invoice – A final walk through with weather guard. If you have any issues with the siding, gutters, focia, soffit or roofs please contact your block captain by November 3rd at the latest.

For the patio doors that were not damaged during the construction project you can get them rescreened for the cost of $30.00. Please contact Bruce Dilley right away if you would like to get your screened fix or it needs to get it replaced.

Tree Maintenance:

Pruning limbs and removing dead or weaken tree’s. Bruce made a motion to set a cap of $3,500 to prune and remove the dead and weaken trees with New Richmond Tree Service. Ray 2nd motion. Motion approved.

Shrub trimming: Another bid will be received for shrub trimming. Please fill out the attached form and return it to your block captains by Monday November 3rd. If no response is received the shrubs around your house will be trimmed. Bruce made a motion to approve up to $50 per unit for shrub trimming. Bob 2nd motion. Motion approved.

Mulching of trees was tabled until a later date.

New Business:

Dryer vent issues: Bruce will get bids to clean out vents.

Dolly’s concerns about the bylaws where brought to the attention of the board. They will be worked on this winter.

A bill from Mike Tjader was presented to the board for removal of trees and stumps. This bill is being looked into.

MaryJo Boardman’s concerns was looked at and discussed.

Joe Kelzer’s concerns about the spraying of the lawns were discussed.

Discussion regarding Jim and Donna Tilley’s door – Bob made a motion to approve the door that The Tilley’s want to put in. Dennis 2nd motion. Motion approved. Anyone that wants to change the door on their until will need to submit a written request to the board with all of the information regarding the door they want to put in.

Request for an audit on the books once a year was requested by members of the association. This will be done in January.
