Archdiocesan Office of Young Adult Ministry
The Office of Young Adult Ministry strives to support and create a vibrant and visible community of Catholic young adults. We seek to challenge young adults to live out the Gospel call of Jesus to “make disciples of all nations” (Mt 28), while continuing to grow in their relationship with Christ and the Church. This ministry offers young adults the opportunity to grow in their spiritual lives and form lasting relationships based on the call of Christ to holiness, community and service.
See http://archstl.org/youngadults for more information.
Volunteer Opportunities with the Society of St. Vincent De Paul
SVDP has several young adult chapters throughout the greater St. Louis area. Members visit the needy in the local area to provide material assistance, such as utility and rent help. Find out more about this opportunity for very rewarding work with other young adults—contact Youth/Young Adult Rep Bryan Kirchoff at 314-640-4366, , or see the blurb at http://stlyouth.org/young-adults.
Spirit & Truth, St. Louis
The mission of Spirit and Truth is to bring young adults into a deep relationship with Christ through worship of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, study of Church teachings and Sacred Scripture, and celebrations of Catholic traditions, while forming a community of life-giving relationships. Groups meet at Sacred Heart in Florissant, St. Bernadette in Mehlville, and at Maryville University in Town and Country. For more information visit the S&T website: http://www.spiritandtruthstl.org/.
Crossroads St. Charles
Being at a crossroad in life is part of everyone’s journey. Our 20′s & 30′s are a time of transition; from college-to career-to family and everything in between. During that time, we believe it’s important that you don’t make that journey alone; that you’re surrounded by people who share your desire to have something more… something different. Together, we are exploring what it means to live in, and spread the Gospel in the 21st century. We are a welcoming group with Catholic roots, all in different stages of life and faith seeking to build community in a casual atmosphere. We strive to build faith and friendship through encouraging conversation, intentional discussions, communal prayer, community service and social gatherings. Gatherings are on Tuesday evenings at the Culpepper’s in O’Fallon, MO. See http://crossroadsstcharles.com/ for more information.
