POSITION: Marketing Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

Plans, manages and coordinates the marketing of the Take 1 Transcription portfolio of transcription, post production scripts, translation and captioning services to the UK, US, and worldwide TV broadcast industry.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.  Responsible for developing and executing overall marketing strategy, alongside other company executives and staff, with the objective of increasing sales and brand awareness.

2.  Ensuring effective, consistent, branded marketing communications through managing the planning and execution of all online and offline marketing activities (including company website; print communication; SEO; social media activities; marketing campaigns; advertising; participation at industry events; PR; etc), and working with external PR agency & digital teams to raise our industry profile.

3.  Managing the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of marketing staff and oversee their daily activities.

4.  Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the company and the growth of market share.

5.  Regular analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts.

6.  Research and analysis of: Our image within the marketplace; evaluation of new product opportunities; the demand for potential products; and customer needs and insights.

7.  Working with product development teams to manage new product development and launch campaigns for new products.

8.  Preparation and management of marketing budget; delivery of marketing plan within agreed budget; and regular reporting on marketing activity, evidential effectiveness and financial reports.

9.  Responsible for maintaining customer data up to date, through the management and ongoing development of Take 1’s CRM systems.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

·  Extremely high level of written and spoken English

·  Strong effective communicator.

·  Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills.

·  Highly developed, demonstrated staff management/motivation skills

·  Expert in Internet, SEO and social media strategy with a demonstrated track record.

·  Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and provide useful advice and input across the company.

·  Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in marketing including PR, written communication, website development, market research, product packaging.

·  Familiarity and skill with the Microsoft software suite of products and design software. Experience in the global marketplace.

·  Excellent skills in customer service, and in communicating with customers regarding new product concepts. Keen eye for attention to detail

·  Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.

·  Self-motivation and proven ability to work on own initiative

·  Experience in preparing, managing and working with budgets.

·  A basic understanding of broadcast and/or digital video/FTP technology
