Event and Fundraising Terms
1.  I will be required to ride 300km over 3 consecutive days (130kms on the longest) in addition I will be required to complete several demanding hill climbs (Category 3, up to 8o). I understand that I will need to demonstrate my capacity to complete the ride in order to participate. The event organisers reserve the right to exclude any rider from the event who is unable to show this ability
2.  I understand that riders will complete the route as a single group and will travel at an average speed of circa 23-25km/hr
3.  I understand that riders be required to follow the directions of the “On-road Ride Captain” and obey general road rules
4.  I understand that all riders will be required to cover the costs associated with their own accommodation, meal and insurance on personal items
5.  I understand the fundraising requirement of working towards a fundraising goal of between $1000 and $2500
6.  I understand that a non-refundable deposit of $250 will be required to secure my place on the 2013 event

Offers to Register
Expressions of Interest will be reviewed and applicant’s capacities to meet the event requirements confirmed. Prospective riders will then be invited to register for the event. Registration instructions will be forwarded including details for making the non-refundable deposit. A place will be reserved for seven (7) days. Places on the ride will be confirmed on receipt of this payment.
Pre-event Activities and Fundraising Support
Several informal pre-event gatherings are planned between March and October 2013. The purposes of these get-togethers will be to provide support to riders with their fundraising, assist with preparation for the ride, as well as to introduce the rider group to members of the Kaurna community. These will be held at convenient locations in metropolitan Adelaide and comprise of family BBQs, afternoon tea and/or rides along parts of the event route. Further details will be available in early March.
