Sino-American Biotech: Multiple Managerial Bioprocess Position Openings in China for a US-China joint venture company.
The client company is a Chinese/American joint venture with more than 20 year history in diagnostics seeking to establish a new China-based biotherapeutics division initially focused on Monoclonal Antibodies. They were very successful in supplying Chinese market for diagnostic and reagents in the past years. Recently they decide to expend the business into biological product R&D and commercial manufacturing in China for both Chinese market and global market with either added function or created new entity in Beijing. They have a very unique approach by transferring very later stage product to China rather than start from discovery research candidates. The company is moving into a totally integrated biotech company in China including R&D for later stage product development and commercial production. All listed positions need to be filled within 2-3 months to start training in a US Biotech company first, then transferring to China. The positions will basically all be managerial or leader positions varying from top to mid levels and position titles will be decided based credential:
Bio-engineer with 5-10 years of US biotech industry experience in bioprocess engineering in cell culture (USP) or purification (DSP).
¨ Will be trained in a US biotech company for about 6-12 month before going to China
¨ Lead the transfer of the US mAb bioprocess (trained) to China facility in Beijing
¨ Lead China bioprocess operation to support development, optimization, scale up, clinical supplies, analytical development and validation, and commercial manufacturing.
¨ Competitive compensation
New Graduates with MS or Ph.D. in Bio-engineering major from US universities
¨ Familiar with modern bioreactor and cell culture or purification operation and principle
¨ Will be trained in a US Biotech Company for about 6-12 month before going to China
¨ Play major roles to lead transfer of the US mAb bioprocess (trained) to China facility in Beijing
¨ Play major roles to lead China bioprocess operation to support development, optimization, and scale up; process validation; clinical supplies production and commercial manufacturing.
