The event will be mainly a celebration of the local LGBT+ community with music, dance, food, drink entertainment and fun. Croydon Pride Fest main events will take place in Queen’s Gardens starting at 12noon until 8pm. The event will be opened by a walking parade accompanied by the Mayor of Croydon, starting at 12:30pm. We envisage having around 4000 attendees.
Number of Volunteers Required: One volunteer to work for 3 months with the events team at Think Events London.
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities: What do you want volunteers to do?
To assist the event manager with the day to duties around planning local events.
Developing an 'always on' social media strategy
Creating content from scratch (written and visual)
Manage all social media feeds
Gaining print press coverage
Monitoring and analysing statistical data to help improve our understanding of who our consumers are, why they interact with us and how we can get closer to them
Attending client meetings
Providing event management duties on the day of the event
