PUBLIC NOTICE

INVITATION TO BID

The City and County of Broomfield (City), State of Colorado, will accept Bids to award a Contract or Contracts for Carbon Road 22 MGD Pump Station #2. Copies of Contract Documents may be obtained on or after Tuesday, June 19, 2007 for a non-refundable cost of $150.00 at Tetra Tech, 8301 E. Prentice Avenue, Suite 101, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.

A non-mandatory prebid meeting will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2007at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall, Broomfield, Colorado. The purpose of the meeting will be to answer any questions about the Project or the Contract Documents.

Bids will be accepted at the Office of the City Clerk at One DesCombes Drive, Broomfield, Colorado 80020, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10. 2007. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers at the above address at 2:05 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2007. All Bids shall be in SEALED ENVELOPES AND PLAINLY MARKED "Sealed Bid – Carbon Road 22 MGD Pump Station #2".

The Work is described in the Specifications and elsewhere in the Contract Documents. It includes, but is not limited to construction of the Carbon Road 22 MGD Pump Station #2 approximate construction cost $3.4M.

The City intends to award the Contract or Contracts to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, subject to the provisions of Chapter 3.20 of the Broomfield Municipal Code.

The City will send plan addenda only to those plan holders who have paid the City for plans for this project.

The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities in Bidding and to reject any or all Bids. All Bids will be evaluated and the award will be made within sixty days from the date that they are opened.
