Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • All spaces are assigned on a first application return, first served basis.

A vendor may request up to two spaces, however,vendors who are not sponsors of the event requesting two or more spaces will be placed in the Next Generation Stage area. Double spaces are reserved for Stokes Stomp event sponsors in the Main Stage area. The fees provide for a 12’ X 12’ space for two days. (If your tent is over 12 X 12, you must pay for two spaces.) The following registration fees and dates will apply:

(a)Early bird discount of $75 if booked by May 15th. Money and contract must be received by May 15th to receive the early bird discount.

(b)$90 per space May 16th through August 2nd.

(c)$105 per space August 3rdthrough August 18th.

(d)$115 per space beginning August 19th through September 6th.

Stokes County Arts Council Members (Individual, Family, or Business Paid Current Membership) are eligible to pay for one 12 X 12 space at a rate of $60 if application received by May 15th. The fee increases to $75 after May 15th to reserve two spaces, please contact the Stokes County Arts Council.

Vendors may request a space (location) on the application; however, the Stokes Stomp Committee cannot guarantee that your request will be honored. Event Sponsors will get space preference.

(Without Approval of Vendor Application and Fee, the Stokes County Arts Council cannot guarantee a space after Friday, August 18th)

The Arts Council shall not be liable for cancellation of the festival due to an act of God or other cause for cancellation as deemed necessary by the festival committee or the Stokes County Arts Council with written notification to the vendor prior to the event. In such an event, this agreement is terminated. Rain Policy: Due to the size of the Stokes Stomp it is impossible to schedule a rain date or an indoor alternative site. Therefore, the Stomp will run on the scheduled date regardless of weather. Also, the Stomp is a non-profit event, with all the resources used to cover event costs. Refunds will incur a $10 administrative fee, a written excuse to the Stokes County Arts Council board is requested for any refund. No refunds approved after September 1, 2017. No Exceptions.

  • Demonstrations by artists or craftspeople are encouraged – Electricity will NOT be provided.
  • The Arts Council will do its best to provide the vendor the same location the vendor had in 2016; however, we are unable to guarantee a particular spot. No spots are assigned until September 8th.
  • Terms and Conditions
  • No alcoholic beverages allowed.
  • No camping or open fires.
  • Swimming and recreation will be at your own risk.
  • The Stokes County Parks and Recreation Department and the Stokes County Arts Council are not responsible for accidents.
  • Dogs MUST be on a leash.
  • No horses allowed in the park
  • No firearms of any kind are allowed.
  • Vendors are discouraged from leaving the Stokes Stomp until program completion on both September 9th and September 10th regardless of the times noted on the application. The only exception will be in the case of an EMERGENCY. Absolutely no cars will be allowed in the parking lot by the main stage until the music is over and all patrons have left the area. This will be strictly enforced.
  • Cancelled Checks or Charge Receipts serve as a vendor’s guarantee of space at the Stokes Stomp.
  • A vendor will receive two parking passes (ballfield parking). There will be parking at the Stokes County Government Center again this year and there will be shuttle service available. Vendors will receive parking passes when arriving for set up in the park.

If you plan to have a tent, the following will apply to you: Tents of over 120 sq. feet or 10’ x 12’ will be inspected for: Flame retardant treatment of tents and any decorations. An affidavit shall be retained at premises of tent, attesting to the following: Fabric Manufacturer, MFG Fabric Lot No. must be U.L. 214 listed, have Calif. Fire Marshal Reg. No. Exits shall be 36 inches and remain open and unobstructed at all times. All tents and areas at the Stomp will be inspected.

The Stokes County Arts Council may no longer give exclusive rights to any vendor to sell a particular item. No vendor may request to be the sole seller of an item except the Stokes County Arts Council.

No baked goods, drinks, bottled water, (including frozen beverages), or food items can be sold. The Arts Council reserves exclusive rights to the selling of these items. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Vendor must also agree to Stokes County Rules and Regulations for the use of Moratock Park.

a.No cooking equipment shall be near exits, aisles, or combustibles.

b.No hay or straw within 35’ of tents or structures unless treated with an approved fire retardant.

c.No Smoking signs shall be placed in the tent areas.

d.No fireworks or open flame devices will be allowed in tents.

e.A 2-A rated fire extinguisher shall be provided in the tent areas every 75’.

f.Tents of over 500 sq.ft. will have their own 2-A rated extinguisher.

g.An unobstructed fire department access of 12 feet wide shall be maintained for emergency apparatus.

h.A2’-3’ area will be kept between each tent, including any guide ropes attached to tents.

i.Before the opening of the Stomp, the Fire Marshal’s Office will make an inspection of the area to see that these requirements are met.

Your space at the Stomp is not reserved until the Arts Council has received your contract and fees.

All participants (exhibitors, demonstrators, sellers, etc.) agree not to hold the Stokes County Arts Council, Inc. or any institution or government agency responsible for loss, damage, or theft of work.

Stokes County Arts Council reserves the right to assign vendor spaces.

Note: Arts/Crafts Vendors may set up vendor space on Friday, September 8th, 2017, 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 9, 2017, 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. All vehicles must be out of the stage area no later than 8:15 a.m.

An officer of the law will provide security at Moratock Park on Friday evening, September 8th, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and again on Saturday evening, September 9th, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
