The Date - without dots or commas - can be on the left or right
Full name and address of the person who will receive the letter.
Dear Sir - Dear Madam (if you do not know the name of the person) Otherwise Dear Mr.. Mrs..
Use formal English. 'I am' or 'we are ' instead of I'm and we're.
Instead of 'position' you can also use 'post' or 'vacancy'.
Only a short description of your work experience and why the job interests you as your CV will be attached.
Use 'Yours sincerely' when you know the name of the person. Otherwise 'yours faithfully'
Name should be printed fully and also signed personally by you.

Tips. - Writing a letter of application.
In a letter of application the following things should be included:
1. State which job you are applying for and why the job interests you.
2. A short summary of you job experience and qualifications in this area.
3. Explain why you think the job would suit you.
4. Explain how you can be reached and when you are available for an interview.
