Job Description
Execute service for all guests on Dune Deck’s beach. Responsible for set up and breakdown of pool and beach furniture and equipment. Taking orders and delivery of food and beverage to guests at beach.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests.
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment. Maintain clean service areas.
- Assist food runners in delivering food and ensuring guests receive what they ordered.
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience.
- Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
- Return all beach equipment to closing location.
- 1-2 years previous food and beverage experience required.
- Able to carry trays with food and beverages up to 25lbs.
- Possess organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Able to work well with others.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to communicate clearly.
- Must have exceptional grooming habits.
- Positive and upbeat attitude.
- Strong understanding of wine varieties, spirits and beer.
- Able to work under pressure in dynamic environment.
- Competency in Point of Sale.
- Able to work with VIP guests and maintain professionalism.
- Clear communication and friendly attitude.

- All access (after work shifts) to any member area needs to be approved by the Executive Team No alcohol should be consumed during your shift
- No “moonlighting”
- If you are with a member (after hours) alcohol consumption should be kept under control
