1:00 – 1:45 PM Tour of the Findlay WPCC and discussion with Randy Greeno, Findlay WPCC Superintendent and Pretreatment Coordinator
2:00 – 3:30 PM Tour of Ball Metal Manufacturing, Findlay
3:30 - ? Happy Hour at the Rocking U
Who should attend?
So who is considered a YP? A YP is any person who is 35 years old or younger; or a member of the wastewater field for less than 5 years at any age. If you fit – you are more than welcome to attend!!
This will be a free training event and 1.75 contact hours will be applied for from Ohio EPA for both the presentation and plant tours. Mr. Greeno will be discussing the pretreatment program at the City of Findlay and provide some ins and outs for those who may not fully understand this part of the wastewater profession.

Directions to Findlay WPCC: 1201 South River Road, Findlay, Ohio 45840. From I-75 take exit 159 for US 224/OH 15. Go east on US 224 to the first intersection after the overpass, Broad Avenue, and turn right. You will cross over the Blanchard River, just after the bridge turn right onto South River Road. The entrance to the plant is on the left.
Directions to Ball Metal from Findlay WPCC: 12340 T.R. 99 E. Findlay, OH 45840. From the Findlay WPCC, turn left onto Broad Street. Drive back to the intersection of US 224 (Trenton Ave) and turn right onto US 224. Follow 224 to N. Main Street. Turn left onto N. Main Street. Follow N. Main Street to T.R. 99. Turn right onto T.R. 99 and Ball Metal will be on the left.
Happy Hour at the Rocking U: Join us after the tours for a happy hour at the Rocking U restaurant and sports bar. Come enjoy some good food and drinks while getting to know some fellow YPs.
