Food and entertainment stalls are $60.00 all other stalls are $40.00 each. All stalls will have a designated 3m x 3m area, unless prior arrangements are made and at the discretion of the coordinators.Stallholders are to provide their own shelter / marquee. Tables can be hired with prior notification ($11 per table).
Application Process
- Complete the attached application form
- Attach photos of products you wish to sell
- Attach Current Public Liability Insurance Certificate
- Application will be assessed and all applicants will be notified in writing to confirm bookings
- Tax Invoice will be sent to approved stall holders
- Stall Holder fee will need to be paid by the due date on Tax Invoice issued to secure your stall
- Information Pack, including bump in times will be provided by the 3rd December
Commercial Arrangements
The definition of a stallholder is ‘an erection for display and sale of goods and / or services’.
PLEASE NOTE: Event organisers are required to:
- Issue “SIRC stall holder permits” to all stallholders
- Receive back all completed forms and approve (sign) stall requests
PLEASE NOTE:
- Final SIRC approval is required for the location of all stalls.
- Final SIRC approval is required for the provision of all temporary structures and services.

- Muru Mittigar and the Sydney International Regatta Centre (SIRC) have the right to reject any stallholder they believe do not comply with the stated code of conduct guidelines and conditions
- Muru Mittigar and SIRC do not accept any responsibility for the weather conditions, and no refund will be issued
- Stall holders must provide Public liability Insurance
- Stall holders must be set up by 9:45am
- Stall holders are required to be in attendance from 10am – 4pm during the market
- Stall holders must provide their own marquees and these must be weighed or pegged down
- Smoking is not permitted in or around stall area
- Stall holders must provide a minimum of 48hrs notice of any cancellations

Purpose of the Code
This code sets out the ethical standards of conduct to be observed by Muru staff and attendees at the Muru Xmas Markets being held on the Sydney International Regatta Centre, Western BBQ Area – Gate A entry on Old Castlereagh Road, Castlereagh NSW.
Who does this code of conduct apply to?
This code of conduct applies to all stallholders and facilitators at the Muru Xmas Markets. We want to provide a safe and vibrant environment, where everyone has the right to be treated with equally with respect and courtesy
What are the responsibilities of the Muru Xmas Market Coordinators?
- Ensure communication is open and effective
- Perform official duties with care, skill, fairness and diligence
- Not assault or insult, threaten members of the public, or behave in such a way that brings Muru Mittigar into disrepute
- Deem what type of goods and services are sold at the markets
- To refuse admission or to eject any persons from the markets
What we can expect of the Stall Holder
- Comply with all terms, codes, directions and information from Muru staff
- Behave professionally and courteously in interactions with all visitors, staff or other stall holders
- Not engage in any behavior that discriminates, bullies, excludes or offends others
- Respond to reasonable requests for advice or information
- Leave your area clean and tidy
- All property borrowed or hired must be treated with care and respect at all times
How can I report a breach of conduct?
If you witness any behavior or situation that you believe breaches this code, you should report it to Market Coordinators on the day. You will not be disadvantaged or discriminated against if you report a legitimate concern. However Muru Mittigar will not accept any false or malicious complaints.
Agreement
I/ We agree to release and indemnify Muru Mittigar Ltd and Sydney International Regatta Centre from any claim for personal injury or property damage arising from the Muru Xmas Markets day.
