Are you a

Romantic or an Enlightenment Thinker?

Take the quiz at http://www.proprofs.com/quiz-school/story.php?title=are-you-romantic-rationalist-perspective-quiz

You will either get:

You are a Rationalist. Like the thinkers Voltaire, Locke, and Rousseau, you believe in striving for scientific advancement, harnessing your curiosity to gain deeper knowledge. You discover truth through inquiry into philosophy and the world, seeking ultimate, absolute truth. Your reasoning defines you. You see yourself as an explorer, forging paths toward greater knowledge. Through your inquiry into truths of the past and present, you believe that we can discover what we need to know to shape the future.

Or

You are a Romantic. Like the poets Byron, Shelley, Keats, Wordsworth, and others, you believe in free creative expression of your deepest feelings and dreams. You discover spiritual and personal truth through inspiring experiences and encounters with nature, and communicate that truth through poetry and art. Your artistic life defines you. You see yourself as a visionary, transcending the mundane through connection with the sublime and the depth of human experience. Through your and others' innovative ideas and imagination, you believe that we can create a better world.

Pick one of the people listed in the Rationalist or Romantic category; from there, research a biography, record the cogent facts about them and their life and what their major ideas about life and the world were. I do not want a list of things they wrote! This is your opportunity to get to know one of the world’s great thinkers; so, get to know them! Include quotes that they said and ideas that they espoused in your analysis of them. With all of this information, create a poster and become this character. Both will be due when we finish Frankenstein and as a closing activity, you will adopt the persona of your thinker and engage in a spirited debate with your fellow thinkers on the novel.
