Issuance of Hellenic / EASA Part-FCL CPL (A) – Single Pilot

(Acceptance of a foreign licence, EASA Commission Regulation (EC) 1178/2011 art. 8)

Requirements for the issuance of an EASA (Hellenic) Part-FCL CPL (A) with SP aeroplane rating issued on the basis of an ICAO-CPL (A) with SP rating issued in a non-EASA member state

□ EASA Part-MED medical certificate class 1 (HCAA AME)

□ Theoretical examination CPL(A) in accordance with FCL.310 (all subjects)

□ Minimum total flying hours experience: in accordance with (EU) 1178/2011, Article 8/2

□ Proof of the radiotelephony qualification entered in the foreign pilot’s licence or equivalent

document

□ Proof of the language proficiency (at least Level 4) entered in the foreign pilot's licence in

accordance with FCL.055, (additionally EASA Member State ELP certificate required).

□ Skill test CPL(A) with examiner on SP aeroplane according Part FCL (EASA examiner/standards)

□ Application for the issuance of a pilot’s licence/permit

□ Copies of all pages of the current foreign pilot’s licence with entry of the required class or type

rating (pending licence is not accepted)

□ Copies of all pages of the valid foreign medical certificate

□ Copies of last 3 pages of the logbook

□ Copy of passport

Additional requirements to obtain an EASA (Hellenic) Part-FCL IR SPA issued on the basis foreign IR SPA

□ Copy of the IR entered in the current foreign pilot’s licence (pending licence is not accepted)

□ Theoretical IR examination in accordance with FCL.615 (all subjects)

□ Proof of the language proficiency (at least Level 4) entered in the foreign pilot's licence in

accordance with FCL.055 , (EASA Member State ELP certificate required).

□ Minimum total flying hours experience: in accordance with Part-FCL

□ Skill test IR with examiner on SP aeroplane (might be combined with a skill test CR/TR SPA) in

accordance with Part-FCL (EASA examiner/standards)

Verification of the foreign pilot’s licenses and medical certificates

By filling the application form, the applicant will authorize the issuing Civil Aviation Authorities of his foreign licenses and medical certificates to provide all relevant information for the corresponding application to the Hellenic Civil Aviation (HCAA)
