On behalf of the Hallettsville Kolache Fest Arts & Crafts Committee, it is a pleasure to invite you to participate in the 16th Annual Hallettsville Kolache Fest Arts & Crafts Show.

This family event draws an average crowd of 6,000 followers and will be held on September 25, 2010. The show hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Hallettsville Knights of Columbus Hall.

Set-up can begin Saturday morning after 6:30 a.m. at the Hallettsville KC Hall. This year there will not be a fence around the KC Hall, and we are not responsible for items left overnight. The Arts & Crafts Committee will be at the registration table to assist you Saturday morning. No vehicles or trailers will be allowed inside the Arts & Crafts area after 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning.

Please note, all exhibitors are responsible for set-up and clean-up of their area. In addition, exhibitors are responsible for all sales tax, signs and decorations. Please be sure to provide the Chamber Office with a copy of sales tax permit and photographs of all products to be sold. The Hallettsville Kolache Fest reserves the right to approve the items sold and will not allow water guns, potato guns, stink bombs, silly string, itching powder, candy/smoking cigarettes, knives, and clothing with distasteful slogans or any other toy that resembles a weapon or may cause a disturbance. We ask that you, as a vendor, help the Kolache Fest create a safe and enjoyable environment for our adult guests and children.

Changes have been made to this year’s Kolache Fest: the booths have been moved to a different location on the KC Hall grounds and there will not be a fence around the area and, therefore, no admission fee. There are a limited number of booth spaces with electricity available. If you have any questions, please call the Hallettsville Chamber of Commerce at (361) 798-2662.

·  You are required to send photos of all types of items you plan to sell along with the entry form, entry fee, and sales tax form.

·  All exhibitors are responsible for set-up, breakdown, and clean-up.

·  Booths requiring more than an approximate 10’x10’ booth space must book additional spaces as needed.

·  Failure to stay within your assigned booth space may result in removal from show.

·  Exhibitors are responsible for all sales tax and signs and decorations.

·  Failure to comply with any of the rules and regulations set forth will result in dismissal from current arts & crafts show and prohibited from return for future festivals as a vendor.

·  The Hallettsville Kolache Fest Chairmen & the Hallettsville Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture reserve the right to decline any booth registration & reserves the right to ask any vendor to leave at any time.

·  The Hallettsville Kolache Fest Chairmen & the Hallettsville Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture reserve the right to approve any items sold. If a vendor is asked to remove any item and if a vendor continues to sell that item, the vendor can be asked to leave the show and will not be asked to return for future festivals.

·  No refund, rain or shine. No vehicles will be allowed in the festival area after 8:00AM.

·  Booth assignments will be on a first - paid registration basis.

·  No pets.

·  The independent sale of non-retail food and drinks is prohibited.

·  You must provide your own tent or cover and tables. The Hallettsville Chamber of Commerce and the Hallettsville KC Hall will NOT provide booth covering or tables.

·  NO guns, knives, toy knives, water guns, toy guns, stink bombs, silly string, carnival type items or any items that are considered to be a weapon or nuisance will be sold or allowed on grounds.

·  Under no circumstances can lessee sublease booth space.

Be sure to enclose photographs of all the types of items you plan to sell. If your item is not checked or listed on your application, it will not be allowed in your booth.
