Playoff information for Qualifying for the
NTX Tournament of Champions (TOC) for Frisco Soccer Association Teams
Dear Coach:
Congratulations - Your team is eligible to participate in the FSA qualifying Playoffs for the North Texas Tournament of Champions (TOC). The playoffs will take place here in Frisco at the end of the regular season and the winner of each age division will represent FSA in the TOC to take place December 5-7th. Each association in NTSSA will send one team to participate in the TOC which will be held at multiple venues around the D/FW metroplex. Only register your team IF your team is interested in participating in the TOC.
NOTE: All teams MAY have weeknight games, and may have more than one night game within the same week during the Playoffs.
Mandatory Bond Payment for Each Team
NOTE: Your team is NOT automatically registered. Each team will be required to register at the FSA Office AND submit a $100.00 perfomance bond. This bond is Due at the FSA Office no later than October 23rd, 2008 at 3:00pm. Your team will not be eligible to participate if the bond money is not received by this time.
The Bond Money will be returned to once your team has participated in each and all games scheduled by FSA in the qualifying tournament and the TOC tournament, should your team advance.
MANDATORY Coaches Meeting:
There will be a coaches meeting on Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 at 7pm at the FSA Soccer Office located at 9741 Preston Rd Ste 303, Frisco, TX 75034. Please park on the north side of the building. Your team MUST have a representative at the meeting. If a team does not have a representative, that team risks disqualification from the tournament.
Playoff Information
Schedules:
The schedule will be provided and finalized after all of the regular season league games are completed and scores are posted. Games will begin as early as Monday evening following the completion of the final league game and we anticipate completion of the playoffs at the end of the following weekend. Report your final scores online asap.
Rosters:
Please have your official Roster (the one with the FSA logo on top) signed by the coach of the team and the registrar (Stephanie Landreneau). Contact the office if you do not have this.
Game Day Rosters:
A game day roster will be required for each game and presented to the referee prior to the commencement of each game. Only officials whose name appears on the roster, have a coaches card, and appear on the game day roster will be allowed on the team side of the field.
Coaches ID Card:
All team officials must have their ID Card at the field.
Referee Checks:
Method of payment to the Referee will discussed at the coaches meeting.
Scores:
The method of Reporting Scores will be addressed at the Coaches Meeting.
