Target audience:

This unique program is designed for senior & chief residents and sports medicine fellows training in orthopaedic surgery interested in learning arthroscopic procedures for treating patients with rotator cuff injuries and shoulder instability.

Course goals & objectives:

Upon completion of the course participants should have the ability to:

·  Complete comprehensive pre-operative planning and alternatives

·  To perform rotator cuff repair with minimal guidance.

·  To perform arthroscopic procedures for treating shoulder instabilities.

·  Appropriately interpret post-operative imaging studies/implant positioning

·  Modify and adjust post- operative rehabilitation plan as needed (e.g., modify for massive cuff repairs, post-operative stiffness)

·  Understand controversies within field.

Massachusetts and Vermont HCP Requirements
