1. Introduction

This is the template to prepare the full paper manuscript for the 16th International Symposium on Applications of Laser Techniques to Fluid Mechanics. Please follow the guidelines given below:

(1)Use an A4 size format (297 mm x 210 mm in height and width). The total number of pages should be less than 12.

(2)The margins are Top: 20 mm, Bottom: 20 mm, Left: 16 mm, and Right: 16 mm.

(3)In the Header, type

(4)Use 14 pt. Bold Times New Roman for the title.

(5)The title should be flush-centered.

(6)Put two single-line spaces (12 pt.) between the title and the names of authors.

(7)The names should be written with 14 pt. Bold Times New Roman.

(8) Do not abbreviate the first and last names. Only the middle names can be written with initials.

(9) Attach a superscript natural number (1, 2, 3, …) at the end of each author's name to identify the affiliation.The same superscript must be used for the same affiliation.

(10)Use 10 pt. Times New Roman for the affiliations.

(11)The affiliations should be flush-centered.

(12)Write a natural number and colon (e.g., 1: ) before each affiliation.

(13)The affiliation should contain (i) the name of university, company, organization or institute and country and (ii) the e-mail address of, only, the correspondent author.

(14)Put one single-line space between the affiliation and the abstract.

(15)Put two single-line spaces between the abstract and the main body.

(16)Write the section header with 14 pt. Bold Times New Roman.

(17)The body should be written with 12 pt. Times New Roman with single line spacing. Greek symbols are also acceptable to denote several physical quantities.

(18)In Equations, use 12 pt. Times New Roman and Symbol. Use 7 pt. fonts for subscripts and superscripts as follows:

(19)Be sure not to use two-byte fonts, which are typical of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean language kits. Two-byte fonts are often unintentionally typed as spaces between words, figures, tables, and symbols.
