Unit 2
Exercise 1
Tom likes chicken and potatoes. His favorite supper is chicken and potatoes.
Dana loves fast food. She loves hot dogs and chips.
Adi doesn’t like meat or chicken. She loves vegetables. Her favorite vegetables are peppers and tomatoes.
Ido loves cereal and milk. He eats cereal for breakfast and for supper.
Noa likes fruit. She loves peaches, plums, apples, bananas and oranges.
Unit 3
Exercise 1
Hi! My name is Lisa and I love animals. I’m lucky – I live on a kibbutz. I have many pets and I work at the pet zoo. At home I have three iguanas. They are green and live in a glass house.
I also have two puppies and a cat. My cat had kittens, so now I have four kittens and a cat. They are so cute. So now I have two puppies, one cat and four kittens.
Every day after school I go to the pet zoo. At the zoo there are two horses, some goats and some sheep. I give all the animals food and water.
Then I go to see the rabbits. I love the rabbits. There are six rabbits. I always clean their cage. Then I play with them. They are very soft.
I work and play with the animals at the pet zoo for two hours and then I go home.
Some afternoons my friend comes to my house. We play with the puppies and kittens. He wants a puppy but his mom says “No!”

Exercise 1
Everyone can help to save the world. We can all be “green”!
Here are some ways you can help:
1. Turn off the tap to save water.
2. Plant new trees. The world needs a lot of trees.
3. Ride your bikes. Don’t drive to school with your parents.
4. Use the recycling bin. Recycle plastic, paper and metal.
5. Throw rubbish in the bin. Keep the parks and beaches clean.
Unit 5
Exercise 1
My name is Shiran. My brother, Amir, and I love the summer holidays. Every summer Amir and I go camping on the beach. We have a lot of fun. We love to swim in the sea.
Amir also goes hiking. He loves walking and climbing mountains. I don’t like walking. Amir walks with his friend.
We also go to the theater with our grandma. We like going to the theater because Grandma always gives us money for candy.
Every summer I go to the amusement park with my friends. Amir doesn’t come with me!
I also love shopping and I go to the mall. Amir hates shopping – he never comes to the mall with me. He goes to work with my dad. My dad is a policeman, so Amir goes to the police station.
