Chairperson or Dean of Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain Department:

The North Carolina League of Transportation & Logistics (NCLTL) value the opportunity for growth in our industry. To accomplish this goal we are once again offering $1,500 scholarships to students who are working towards a degree in our industry.

Over the past five years the NCLTL has offered $1,500 Scholarships to students at North Carolina Institutions of Higher Learning that are enrolled in a Logistics or Supply Chain program.

This year our scholarship essay question is:

Using a CASE STUDY: Lean Logistics, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management are processes to improve among other things, supply chains. Provide a case study showing the best of the best improvements in an actual company’s supply chain.

Please promote this opportunity with your logistics and supply chain students. The deadline is October 14, 2016. Our scholarship committee will review and select the winning essays from qualified applicants and we plan to award these scholarships at our Fall meeting in Greensboro, NC on November 3, 2016.
