Get Out There! Saturday May 18th, 1-4pm
Participate in St. Patrick’s County Park’s program in honor of the National Wildlife
Federation’s “Be Out There” campaign and the “No Child Left Inside” national initiative. Go canoeing or kayaking, learn to fish, play disc golf, throw a boomerang, practice archery or go geocaching. Activities designed for the whole family and will be held near the Fragomeni Shelter.
Saturday May 18th
Access in and out of the park gates after 10:30 pm is limited to emergencies, and must be coordinated with the on-site overnight security crew.
(Located at park gatehouse) Individual campfires and charcoal grills at tent/motor home sites are not allowed. Campers may cook on propane camp stoves at their site.
Campers will park their vehicles, after unloading, in the lot north of the Red Barn.
No campers or motor homes over 30 feet. Motor homes will park in the Berta Shelter lot.
At the Berta Shelter there are:
Heated restrooms, with flush toilets.
A water spigot with potable water.
A large “community” grill. Campers must supply their own charcoal, utensils and supplies.
One designated “community” campfire site. Firewood will be provided.
Due to firewood transport restrictions in association with the Emerald Ash Borer, campers may not bring in any firewood.
Bicycles are not allowed on the hiking trails. Please keep your pet on a leash.

Sunday May 19th
Cereal, Danish and Bagels 6:30-10:00 a.m. SAG location near Red Barn.
Main park entrance and Laurel Rd will be closed to auto traffic until 11:30am. Vehicles must use the maintenance exit (then go east on State Line Rd to Kenilworth Rd south). during the event.
Campers must have their vehicles packed and site cleared by 2pm(EDT) Sunday.
