GUIDELINES
- All abstracts should be emailed at .
- Abstracts must be original and must not be published or presented at any other meeting.
- All abstracts must be submitted in English.
- The length of the abstract body should not exceed 300 words.
- Please mention 3-4 key words per abstract.
- You should specify the preferred mode of presentation i.e. oral or poster. Since there will be limited slot for oral presentation; only a few of them will be accepted for oral presentation, as per decision of Abstract Review Committee.
- After closure of abstract submission date, no further abstract will be entertained.
ABSTRACT SHOULD BE STRUCTURED WITHIN THE FOLLOWING HEADINGS:
- Introduction: (indicate the purpose of the study or hypothesis that was tested)
- Methods: (include the setting for the study, design of the study, the subjects, methods, and the type of statistical analysis)
- Results: (present as clearly as possible the outcome of the study and statistical significance, if appropriate).
- Conclusion: (briefly discuss the data and emphasize the significance of the results).
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Registration is mandatory for the presenting author for the presentation of the paper.
- All submissions shall go through a peer review process by a pre-selected Abstract Review Committee.
- The decisions of the peer review committee will be final.
- Authors selected for oral and poster presentation will be informed by Nov 07, 2017. Notification and instructions will be sent to the author’s e-mail address provided at the time of abstract submission.

- Abstracts selected for presentation will be published during the conference. The abstract will be printed from the electronically submitted material. Every effort will be made to reproduce the content of the abstracts as submitted. The Abstract Review Committee will not proof-read or correct spelling, typographical, grammatical, or scientific errors, nor can changes be made once the abstract is submitted.
- Detailed information on the presentation format and submission procedures (i.e. duration and timing of the presentation, size of poster) will be emailed to all the delegates whose papers have been accepted by the Abstract Review Committee.
- All abstracts will be screened for plagiarism using appropriate software.
- Authors must ensure that the abstract being submitted has not been published.
- Note that abstracts presented previously at national or international meetings (but not published) may be submitted providing this is declared
- By submitting abstracts, authors grant the organizing committee the right to publish their abstracts online and or in print as part of the congress proceedings.

REVIEW OF ABSTRACTS
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Abstract Review Committee and a decision emailed to the author. The Abstract Review Committee reserves the right to change submission for oral presentation to posters depending on the number, theme and quality of submissions.
All abstracts will be subjected to blinded peer review by Abstract Review Committee. The following general guidelines will be followed for the review of the abstract:
- Originality of the Work
- Clarity of Idea
- Appropriate Study Design and Methodology
- Implications for Advancement of Knowledge and Practice
- Conflict of Interest and Ethical Issues
- Authors are requested to adhere to the following guidelines while preparing their abstracts. This will greatly facilitate the review process.
REJECTION OF ABSTRACTS
STOX 2017 reserves the right to reject abstract based on the following criteria:
- If the abstract does not comply with the style guidelines; including excessive length,
- If the abstract is incomplete,
- If the abstract contains inappropriate content, and
- If the abstract fall outside of the scope of the meeting.
