How to reset your Active Directory password

You forgOt your password or YOUR ACCOUNT IS locked

NOTE: You must register and setup at least one Security Authentication method prior to using this service. Pleaserefer to page 5 for more details.

Follow the steps below to reset your Pernod Ricard account password

  1. To start, visit and select the option “PASSWORD LOCKED / FORGOTTEN
  2. In the "Who are you?" page, enter your Pernod Ricard email address and prove you aren't a robot by typing the characters within the grey box.

  1. Click the "Next" button.
  2. Choose the option the best describes your issue
  3. “I forgot my password” to reset your password (a new password will be generated)
  4. “I know my password, but still can’t sign in” to unlock your account (you will keep the same password)
  5. Select an option to verify your identity
  6. Email my alternate email- sends an email with a 6-digit code to alternate emailsetup during enrollment
  7. Text my mobile phone–sends a text message to your mobile phone with a 6-digit code
  8. Call my mobile phone- calls yourmobile phone, and press the#key to verify the call
  9. Answer my security questions- displays your pre-registered security questions for you to answer
  10. As an example, selecting the "text my mobile phone" option. If you are using a phone based option, you'll need to verify your phone number before we'll send a text. Enter your full phone number and then clickNextto verify it's correct and send a text.

  1. When you receive the text, make sure you use the verification code in the message body, not the number the code was sent from. It might take a few minutes to get the text!
  2. Now, enter the code you just received on your phone into the input box on the page.
  3. Note: the code in the screenshot is an example.

  1. If you select to Reset your password, type a new password and confirm your choice, then clickFinish.

  1. Once you see the success page, you are good to go! You can now sign in with your new password.

  1. If you select to Unlock your account, you will see the following confirmation screen
  2. You will receive this email confirming the password change

Enroll into Self-service Password Service

Prior to being able to use the password reset tool,you must first enroll into the Self-Service Portal.

The fastest way to register for password reset is to go to

Select the “REGISTER” option

  1. Enter your email address and password
  2. Choose an option to register for by clickingset it up now.
    To reset your password, you will be allowed to use the following methods:

Mobile Phone - This information can be store in Active Directory and directly sync into the Self-Service Password Portal

Alternate Email Address – use a personal email address

Security Questions - 3 secret questions must be set

  1. As an example, we select Authentication phone.
  1. Select your country code from the dropdown and enter yourfull phone number including area code
  1. Select either thetext meorcall meoption. In this case, we selecttext me, which will send a 6-digit code to your phone. Wait for the code to arrive on your phone.
  1. Once the code arrives, enter it into the input box, and then click "Verify".
  2. Once complete, the following screen will appear, you may select “Finish”
    Congratulations, you are now enrolled into Self-Service.

Authentication phone – You will receive a voice callor a code by text message

Office Phone– Voice call

Mobile App – More details page 10, step 5

This verification method will be used with each new connection to Office 365. If you session is already active you will not be prompted.
