PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIPS

OPEN TO ALL CURRENT, FULL-TIME SENIOR STUDENTS AT BATAVIA HIGH SCHOOL, NOTRE DAME HIGH SCHOOL AND GENESEE-WYOMING B.O.C.E.S. Students enrolled in any of the Academy programs at BOCES must apply through their home school of either Batavia or Notre Dame. ONE STUDENT FROM EACH INSTITUTION WILL BE SELECTED. THIS IS A $1,500 ANNUAL GRANT. STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED FULL-TIME AT AN ACCREDITED U.S. POST - SECONDARY INSTITUTION. STUDENTS MUST MAINTAIN A MINIMUM OF A 2.5 GRADE POINT AVERAGE OR EQUIVALENT BY THE END OF THE FINAL SEMESTER OF EACH SCHOOL YEAR. If successful for all four years this scholarship is worth $6,000 to the student.

THE COMMITTEE WILL INTERVIEW FINALISTS AT EACH SCHOOL BETWEEN 5/2 AND 5/6 AS SCHEDULES PERMIT. SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED May 10th.

THE THREE SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS, PARENTS AND SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE REQUESTED TO BE THE GUESTS OF THE ROTARY CLUB AT A REGULAR TUESDAY LUNCHEON MEETING MAY 24th.
