In exchange for a flat rate, our farm provides you with a weekly box of fresh produce that we grow or have other local farmers (within 25 miles) grow for us. Some shares also include eggs each week and/or half a hog and 1/8 of a beef steer. We begin the first week of June and the program runs for 20 weeks. We also have a winter CSA program, which runs November through May. Free-range chickens, turkeys, beef, pork honey, maple syrup, cooking oils, organic grains and much more are also available as add on items.

Risks and Benefits of a CSA - When one joins a CSA, one accepts some of the risk. By paying up front, the CSA members share with the farmer the risk that a certain percentage of the crops planned in advanced might fail. The benefit to the farmer is that a certain income is assured, even if he doesn’t have 100% crop success. The benefit to the CSA member is that they are assured of a steady, weekly supply of produce presented with the knowledge that the produce is grown free of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. There are no refunds for any portion of the CSA program.

Pick Up Locations and Times - Pick up will be at the farm, the Medina Farmers market, the Friends Church in North Olmsted (Great Northern Blvd) at Vermilion Farmers Market and other locations. Detailed pick-up times will be made available at the start of the season. Scheduled pick up times must be adhered to. It is the member’s responsibility to make arrangements to have their share picked up at the set time. If a share is not picked up it will not be refunded or made up at another date. Other pickup/delivery arrangements can be made and may involve a delivery fee. Additional drop off points may be added during the season.

Payment plans are available as shown below, effective 1/1/2018: (other arrangements can be made, please inquire)

By paying up front you are helping us determine how many shares we will need to be filled for the season so we can plan our planting schedule. We then have the necessary capital to carry on the day-to-day farm activities. You may choose to pay in four payments, but please send the first payment as your deposit. Customers that pay in full by February 1st receive an extra discount, to be determined.
