Programming
Learning objectives:
·  I can decompose a problem into smaller parts to design an algorithm for a specific outcome and use this to write a program.
·  I can use a variable to increase programming possibilities.
·  I can use logical reasoning to detect and debug mistakes in a program.
·  I can change an input to a program to achieve a different output
·  I use logical thinking, imagination and creativity to extend a program.
Activities:
·  Create a Pong game in Scratch using variables
·  Create a dancing character in Scratch
·  Create a game or puzzle linked to Maths in Scratch
·  Create a game in Scratch using the whole process of programming development e.g. planning an algorithm and deciding on the program to achieve the algorithm
Multimedia / Technology in our Lives
Learning objectives:
·  I can select an appropriate online or offline tool to create and share ideas
·  I can use text, photo, sound and video editing tools to refine my work
·  I can use the skills I have already developed to create content using unfamiliar technology
·  I can use appropriate keyboard commands to amend text on my device
·  I can evaluate my work and improve its effectiveness
Activities:
·  To plan a presentation, game or quiz that enables people to learn about a topic area.
·  Use an unfamiliar tool e.g. Thinglink or Photopeach to create content for a presentation
·  Use Padlet, Primary Pad or Linoit to collaborate with other children to create and share ideas as well as providing feedback. / Learning objectives:
·  I can describe different parts of the Internet
·  I can use a search engine to find appropriate information and check its reliability
·  I can recognise and evaluate different types of information I find on the World Wide Web
Activities:
·  Learn about how the WWW and Internet work
·  Evaluate spoof websites and how to check their validity
·  Use search engines to collect information about Shakespeare in order to create an interactive biography about him (on Scratch or PowerPoint). Children will think about effective strategies to enable their search.
