The UK Shared Service Centre (SSC) supports 5 market facing divisions which together represent c£1232 million revenue. Over the last 12 months, the focus has been to drive greater development, efficiencies and synergies across both the finance and customer operations areas; this is the continued strategy throughout 2014 and beyond. The UK Shared Services is based across two sites, Colchester and Byfleet, consists of approximately 280 staff.
The role is predominately a management information and reporting role, so strong communication and analytical skills are required.
As CAPA is part of the Support Function Team, the candidate will be required to liaise with UK SSC staff across all departments and will also be Group facing for certain elements of their responsibilities.
Overall summary:
The CAPA team overall is responsible for:
(1) Provision of management accounting support for UK SSC/SMT and IT including preparation of management accounts, forecasting and budgeting for GB138, NL016, CH004, CH005, CH006, US061 and GB237;
(2) Calculation of recharges to Business Partners on an annual budgetary and true up basis
(3) Costing of acquisitions;
(4) Provision of performance analysis on a regular and ad hoc basis;
(5) Development of reporting tools and SSC wide KPI’s;
(6) Governance of the Service Framework Agreements with all UK Business Partners;
(7) Governance of QlikView including its implementation and application for the UK SSC;
(8) Improving reporting specifically for group, including Forex and working capital analysis;
(9) Other reporting as required;
There are currently 10 staff working within the team providing individual elements of the above range of services.
Responsibilities:
· Assisting with the preparation and production of internal monthly KPI suite as required for our Service Framework Agreements
· Assisting with the preparation and production of Business Partner facing KPI suite quarterly as required for our Service Framework Agreements
· Ownership of the QlikView management information tool within CAPA including developing its uses, production of existing QlikView reporting i.e. timesheets analysis
· Creating operational dashboards for all SSC departments
· Assisting with costing new acquisitions / integrations into the SSC
· Assist with Group reporting requirements including forex
· Preparation of analysis / reports as required to assist the SMT / operational departments in making data driven decisions
· Undertaking specific and Ad hoc projects as required;
· To be actively involved in the strategy and objectives of the CAPA Team;

Person Profile:
Experience and Qualifications
· Qualified to graduate level
· Commercial & business awareness
· Proven experience of dealing with large volumes of data and providing analysis thereon
· Proven experience of learning new IT tools and systems
· Knowledge of Informa Systems i.e. CODA / SAP is advantageous
