GIRLSHIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL CONCESSION CHECK LIST
“Set up Parents should be at the high school by 5:00 p.m. The first priority is to get the hot food going.
All supplies are kept in locker number 108 (in Hall of Gym Entrance Doors). You will need to get the key to this door from either the Athletic Director, Ricky Michel or Deb Van Klei.
______Bring out three Roasters – one for cooking hot dogs , one for wrapped hot dogs,one for BWW (needs to be the one with the three divided trays in it), the Nacho Cheese Machine, Cookie Oven and Bin that is labeled “High School Bin”.
______Plug in all appliances (Roasters and Nacho Cheese Machine). The cookie oven and 1 roaster need to be plugged into the longer extension cord that is there and plugged into the outlet on the other side of the Teachers Lounge Door, all others can be plugged into wall with other extension cords in our bins (these are on 2 different circuits).
______Wear gloves when handling all food.
______Place cheese sauce for Nacho Machine inside to get warm (one cheese goes in warmer on top and another set up to dispense). Cheese sauce is in refrigerator labeled girls basketball.
______Lift out the pan of the roaster and put about 1 inch of water in the very bottom of all roasters. Replace the pan and turn onto 450 degrees. Put about 3 inches of water in top hot dog roaster pan and add hot dogs (in teachers lounge refrigerator). Start them on high…..after about 1 hour check temperature, needs to be 160, or they need to begin to split. Then turn down temperature and put some in foil wrappers to be sold, store in another roaster. Hot Dogs, Buns, Ketchup and Mustard can be found in the Teacher’s lounge refrigerator labeled Girls Basketball.
______Tape down all cords with Duct Tape in Extension Cord Bin.
______The Athletic Director, Ricky Michel, brings out the popcorn machine, candy, pop, and money box from Athletic Director.
______Start baking cookies and making popcorn about ½ hour prior to start of game.
______Cookie Oven bakes at 350 degrees. Place frozen cookie dough(located in the teacher lounge freezer) on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper and bake about 10 minutes, until light brown. Parchment paper can be re-used the whole time, if it gets dirty wipe with a wet paper towel. (start with about 2 dozen cookies)
______Place chips in plastic nacho trays and let buyers dispense their own cheese. (start with about 8-10 trays filled)
______Popcorn machine warming light, the furthest right button, is always on. When popping turn on middle and furthest left button. Fill oil cup about ¾ full and put in popper, fill popcorn cup full and put in popper. Watch it to finish popping and turn off middle and left button.
______Pickles are served in the small Dixie cups.
______Tear down at end of 3rd quarter. Clean all pieces used in the teachers lounge sink and put back into locker.
______Write down and count all candy, pop and popcorn boxes left and get those things back to the Athletic Director.
______Write down all supplies that are getting low….we use these for all home games and all Traveling Tournaments….if you aren’t sure if it is “low” write down about how much is left and we will decide if it needs to be ordered.
