SPECIAL IMMUNIZATION DRIVE
Action Plan for ASHA
Preparatory Phase:
- Mapping of every household under her jurisdiction.
- Listing of child below 2 years of age:
1. Who have received all the vaccine as per the MCP card.
2. Who has been dropped out fro due vaccine as per the MCP card.
3. Who has been left out from all the vaccine.
- Listing of migratory child from her area and thereby certification for the same under the seal of Gaon burha/PRI member.
- Listing of new family with children aged between (0-24 months) who have migrated from other area to her (ASHA) area and thereby certification for the same under the seal of Gaon burha/PRI member.
- Submission of compiled list of children below 2 years of age to the concerned ANM.
- Orient each ASHA/ASHA Supervisor about their incentive as per Annexure-I
During the Special Immunization Drive:
- Mobilization of the children as per the due list prepared based on the MCP card to the concerned session site.
- Ensure due vaccination of every child as per the due list.
- Ensure insertion of every name in the concerned reporting format and tallying that with the due list.
- Ensure sticking of relevant stickers (Red, Yellow and green) in every household.
Post Special Immunization Drive:
- Follow-up of every vaccinated child regarding any complication occurred and thereby informing the same to the concerned ANM.
