WORLD GEOGRAPHY - REGIONAL TRIP ACTIVITY
TRIPS ARE DUE BEFORE WE TALK ABOUT THE NEXT REGION
This activity is designed to let you explore the world regions based on a trip in each region.
Be creative…Be accurate….Be informative
You will be reading about 10 regions through the semester.
-For 4 of the regions you need to create a trip.
-The trip will be one from the National Geographic link on the Project Page.
-You are to select a trip for each Region.
-The trip should be submitted as a Power Point
Images..sketches...maps...visuals
Write up/promote the trip (Brief)
-Be careful…..
DO NOT SIMPLY COPY SOMEONE’S INFORMATION OFF THE INTERNET...
MAKE IT YOUR OWN WORK…
THIS IS A VISUAL ASSIGNMENT WITH DESCRIPTIONS....NOT JUST A RESEARCH PAPER WITH RANDOM PICTURES
-Assemble information about the trip based on the route used in the N.G. link.
-Power Point (put in website drop box - Last name, first name, topic)
-The Power Point should have at least 25 slides.
-Since you have the choice of which regions, you need to look at the course outline as to when it is due. The trip is due before we talk about the region in class.
-Power Point (at minimum)
-Title page with name-class-campus-date.
-Organized?
-What are some costs/budget?
-Be sure the pictures are sharp enough to see features.
-Summarize your trip.
-References? (style your choice including using hyper links)
-Use a variety of sources. Clearly cite them or link them.
-Wikipedia and Google Images are not references
