Be sure to share the personal experiences and challenges of an employee touched by lupus. The most important reason fellow employees will join the team and raise funds is because they know others who have been touched by lupus.

The incidence of lupus is 3 times higher in all minorities – these are the faces of so manyof ouremployees and our family members.

Our company will host a team picnic joining the Atlanta top teams at the walk picnic site at PiedmontPark! Join us for a fabulous fun-filled day for all the family!

My personal goal is to raise $______to help/in honor/or in memory of ______(share who you know touched by lupus, if applicable).

Every step and every donation helps the efforts to solve the cruel mystery of lupus. Ninety percent of every dollar donated stays in Georgia to ensure the Chapter continues to provide and expand the only free statewide lupus programs and resources, including the support group network and nine statewide symposiums andreaching seven new communities and patients in 2015. The Chapter also supports the national LFA research efforts funding and advocating for investment in lupus. Lupus is an unpredictable and potentially fatal autoimmune disease that affects 55,000 Georgians; mostly women aged 18-45, but also men, children and women of all ages.

The cruel mystery does not daunt us. We work tirelessly to improve the lives of all people affected by lupus. Thank you for joining us in the fight to end lupus.

Sincerely, Team Captain Name/and or Manager/and or CEO
