GRUESOME DOUBLE MURDER CASE SOLVED.

With the arrest of Ram Lama @ Rama, aged 19 years s/o IshaBahadurr/oVillagePatisora, ward No. 5, Distt. Chitwan, Nepal, Outer District has solved a brutal murder case of 2 persons namely Raju @ Kancha, aged 20 years, s/o Parshau Ram and Ram Parsad, aged 40 yrs, s/o Chola Nath Pandey, both the resident of Nepal. All of three of them i.e. deceased Raju & Ram Parsad and accused Ram Lama belongs to same place i.e. village Patisora, Distt. Chitwan, Nepal.

TEAM AND THE INCIDENT

A team consisting of SI Ashok Kumar, SI Puran Pant, HC Ashwani No. 844/OD, Const. Ashok, No. 1215/OD and Const. Shadashiv, No. 1512/OD was constituted under the close supervision of Shri Dinesh Kumar Gupta, ACP/Alipur, Outer District.

On dated 19.1.09 at about 7.20 A.M., a PCR call was received that blood is coming out from House No.308, Near Company No.8, Phase II, Badli Ind. Area. The information was lodged at serial No.12 of daily diary B. Immediately, police team rushed to the spot and found that blood was oozing out from the House opposite House No.308, Badli Ind. Area. Lock of the House was broken and two persons were found lying dead on the floor. Sharp weapon injuries were found on the neck, head and mouth of the deceased. One big knife and a hammer was found on the spot. On this,a case has been registered vide FIR No. 08/09 dated 19.01.09 u/s 302 IPC at PS S.P.Badli.

INVESTIGATION

During the course of investigation, it was revealed that accused Ram Lama @ Rama had been seen running in early morning. Intelligence regarding where-about of the accused were collected and accordingly various teams were setup and sent to many places i.e. Jind (HR), Kharkhoda Town, District Sonipat(HR), Ludhiana(PB), Kosam(Bhiwani) and upto Nepal Border. Various sources were developed at all the possible hideout of accused. Photograph of accused Ram Lama was also procured and wide publicity was given through eyes and ears scheme and also through other sources. Technical surveillance was also kept to ascertain the location of the accused.On 17.07.09, secret information was received that accused Ram Lama will arrive at I.S.B.T. and from there he will depart for Panipat where his brother-in-law is working in a poultry farm. On this the team was deployed at I.S.B.T in plain clothes and accordingly the accused was apprehended and interrogated to ascertain his involvement in this crime.Initially, he did not confess of having committed this murder. But on sustained interrogation, he broke down and confessed to have committed this murder.

The accused person disclosed that the deceased Ram Parsad, was his employer and he had not paid his salary for five months. Accused was in need of money as he wanted to visit Nepal to see his family. So he killed Ram Parsad. He also killed his colleague namely Raju because he was the prime eye witness of the incident, moreover, Ram Parsad had given Rs.3000/- to Raju but Ram Parsad denied to pay the salary of the accused infuriated over it, he wanted to take revenge.

MOTIVE OF CRIME

His employer Ram Parsad had not disbursed his salary for five months and he was in need of money hence, he decided to take revenge with Ram Parsad and killed him and also killed his colleague namely Raju to finish the prime eye witness.

DELHI TRAFFIC POLICE

To bring about order on Delhi roads Delhi Traffic Police has been putting strenuous efforts to bring violators of traffic rules and regulations to book and to sensitize the motorists. Various drives are being organized by the traffic police from time to time to stress the importance of safe driving. Traffic police has been constantly campaigning against drunken driving by educating the road users and carrying out prosecution of those indulging in drunken driving. On the night of 17-07-09, 40 locations were identified for checking against drunken driving around pubs, bars, restaurants and major thoroughfares to apprehend those indulging in dunking driving. Each team was supervised by an Inspector. Senior police officers were also present. The checking which took place between 9 PM to 12 midnight caught many unaware.

As a result of the drive, a total of 609 persons were challaned, including 392 for drunken driving. 90 persons were challaned for dangerous driving. 48 vehicles were impounded during the checking.

Traffic police has launched a major campaign by educating road users through F.M. channels to avoid drunken driving. Those who consume alcohol should either take a taxi or have sane/sober driver to drive for him. In case of a party it is the moral responsibility of the host to see that if the guest is under the influence of alcohol he should arrange for his reaching home by either providing an alternate driver or by using a cab.

SENSATIONAL MURDER CASE OF AN UNKNOWN PERSON OF PS NANGLOI SOLVED

With the arrest of 3 accused persons namely, (1) Baby (2) Pawan (3) Bhola, staff of PS Nangloi have solved a blind sensational murder case wherein a dead body of male aged around 25-30 years was found in a box near Rohtak Road. A case was registered vide FIR No. 260/09 u/s 302/201/34 IPC at PS Nangloi in this regard.

ACCUSED PERSONS ARRESTED

1) Baby D/o Bhola Sharma R/o Agar Nagar Prem Nagar-III, Delhi, aged 20 years, unmarried, studying in 12th standard.

(2) Pawan S/o Bhola Sharma R/o Agar Nagar Prem Nagar-III, Delhi, aged 20 years, matriculate, in private job.

(3) Bhola Sharma S/o Shri Omprakash R/o Agar Nagar Prem Nagar-III, Delhi, aged 50 years, 5th pass and a Rickshaw puller.

INCIDENT AND TEAM

On 08/7/2009 a telephone call was received at the Police Station Nangloi that an unclaimed iron box is lying behind Gopal Punjabi Dhaba near Rohtak Road. SHO/Nangloi with the staff reached the spot immediately and found that an iron box was lying on the road side and foul smell was coming out of it. On opening the box, a dead body of an unknown male person aged 25-30 years with the slit throat was found in the box. The Crime team was called on the spot and inspected the scene. The body was shifted to SGM Hospital, Mangolpuri and preserved at Mortuary. A case vide FIR No. 260/09 u/s 302/201/34 IPC was registered at PS Nangloi and the investigation was taken up by Insp Rajbir Singh Malik, SHO/PS Nangloi himself.

A team consisting of Insp. Rajbir Singh Malik, SHO/PS Nangloi, SI Omprakash I/C PP Tikri Border, SI Pratap Singh, SI Rajender Sharma, HC Balwan Singh, HC Jagmer, HC Surender, Ct. Dilawar, Ct. Mahender and Ct. Sunil was formed under the supervision of ACP/Vikas Puri Shri Tejpal Nagar. The team inspected the scene of crime minutely and local enquiry was conducted. During enquiry, it was revealed that early in the morning at about 5 A.M., a rickshaw puller with the help of another person was seen carrying this box on an old rickshaw and left this box on the road side. The portrait of this suspect was got prepared at CRO/ PHQ, Delhi. On the basis of the portrait and local enquiry, the search was carried out in the area. Due to efforts of the team suspect Bhola was traced along with an old rickshaw in the area of Nangloi.

INTERROGATION :

During sustained interrogation the accused Bhola broke down and confessed of his crime. He disclosed that he along with his daughter Baby and son Pawan has murdered this unknown person. He further disclosed that his daughter, Baby was being harassed by one Sunil Kumar while she was on her way to school. She often made this complaint to her father and also told this person not to bother her in future. He did not care for her instructions/objection and kept making calls to her from the STD booth. Accused Bhola along with his daughter and son hatched the conspiracy and called this person to his house in the intervening night of 6/7-7-09. Accused Bhola asked him not to bother his daughter and to remain away from her but the deceased apparently did not give much attention to his words. A hot argument followed and subsequently, Bhola with the help of his daughter and son strangulated him and slit his throat with the knife made locally with the hacksaw blade. After killing him, they all wrapped the dead body in two blankets and a bedsheet and put the dead body in the iron box. Then they carried the iron box in old passenger rickshaw and dumped it on road side near Rohtak Road. On the instance of the accused Bhola the weapon of offence has been recovered.

Further investigation is in progress. The staff who has worked out this blind and sensational murder case is being rewarded suitably.
