What is a Summer Good News Club®?
It is a mini VBS coming to your location. The Summer GNC meets for five consecutive days, one hour each day.Children gather to hear Bible stories, sing songs, learn Bible verses, listen to a missionary story, and play games. During this summer the theme will beThe Wordless Book Visualized.
What Do Hosts do?
As a host, you provide a location for the club and invite children ages 5-12 to come. If possible, provide a simple snack for the children – this is your only expense for this program. We also ask you to provide at least one person to sit with the children during club and help solve discipline problems that may occur.
Who Does the Teaching?
High-school and college-age youth are prepared in a two week, summer GNC training program. 2-4 youth will come to conduct each club. They are supervised by Christian adults who have received comparable training. All workers have had a national background check and are approved for children’s work.
How Does One Schedule a Summer Good News Club?
Fill out and return the registration form below. Please make sure to put your choices for dates and times and make yourself a copy of the form. We will fill requests on a first-come-first-served basis. However, if a club will be in a distant location, we will attempt to schedule all clubs for that week in the same area.
