-For any enquiries, ask for the centre’s academic coordinator

Areas of study restricted for visiting students / - Faculty of Medicine and Nursing (Medicine and Dentistry). Will only receive applications from universities that have a bilateral exchange agreement with them.
No matter the period of stay of the students here (1st or 2nd semester of the academic year 2016/2017), applications should be sent within the 1st deadline (before the 6th May 2016).
Important: The access to clinical internships of the 6th course of Medicine will only be allowed in the 1st semester (September to December 2016).
- Faculty of Fine Arts. Check with the International Relations coordinator if there´s not a bilateral agreement.
Application for admission procedure

IMPORTANT:

Deadlinesfor thesubmission of the admission application forms / -First academic term(From September to January):6th May 2016
-Second academic term (From end January-February to June-July) – 30thOctober 2016
Applications received after thedeadlines will not be accepted for the requested term. However, should you agree, they will be taken into consideration for the next term or academic year.
STEP 1:
Choice of school and courses at the UPV / EHU / Select the UPV/EHU centre where you wish to apply for admission.

Find out if there are any courses that you wish to take at the UPV/EHU and if they fit your studies in your home university.
STEP 2:
Approval of your university / Check with the person responsible for student exchanges at your university if you are allowed to participate in a bilateral exchange with the UPV/EHU. If you are given approval, continue to step 2.
STEP 3:
First documentation and online registration /
  1. The person responsible at your university mustsend an e-mail to the following address: ) attaching:
-Completed application form
-The academic agreement indicating the subjects you wish to study (provisional agreement subject to changes during your stay at the UPV/EHU)
-Scanned copy of your passport. That copy must contain the validity period of the passport.

STEP 4:
Admission letter / The Vice-Rectorate for International Relations will forward to the person responsible at your university the admissionletter to the UPV/EHU.
STEP 5:
Registration at the UPV / EHU / You will have to enrol at the UPV/EHU by following the co-ordinator’s instructions (remember you must also be enrolled at your home university).

Medical Insurance

Medical insurance / The University does not provide medical insurance. It is compulsory for visiting students to take out general medical and accident cover, including the cost of repatriation.
Language courses for foreigners

Spanish and Basque courses:

/ Available for students participating in mobility programmes organised by the Vice-rectorate for International Relations, postgraduate students and visiting teaching staff and researchers (check registration terms in the web site).
-Duration of Spanish Courses: August-September intensive course, autumn and spring semester courses.
-Duration of Basque Courses: Autumn and spring semester courses.
-Venues: Campuses of Alava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa.
