Course Guides: Part B Course Detail

(Part B:Course Details are made available to students before the start of each semester)

Course Title

Part B: Course Detail

Many courses are offered in multiple locations and through different delivery models. While the Learning Outcomes remain the same, the learning activities and the assessment tasks may vary with location or mode of delivery. Furthermore, the course details will change almost each time a course is offered. For every Part A Course Guide (Course Overview) there will normally be multiple Part Bs (Course Details) – each generally associated with an ‘Offering’. Course Details including teaching schedules will be given to students in the first class or posted to the DLS and will tell students about the week-to-week pattern of study, and the timing and nature of tests and assignments and exams. The Part A Course Guides will be changed infrequently but academic staff can vary the Part B Course Details every time a course is offered.

The following link provides important information on the following topics that relates to all courses:

  • Student Feedback at RMIT
  • Student Progress
  • Special Consideration, appeals, and discipline
  • Academic Integrity
  • Student Progress Committee (SPC)
  • Assessment Grades
  • Classification of award
