St. Louise After-School Robotics Club
WHO: Open to current St Louise 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who have been a part of the St. Louise Robotics program or have prior robotics programming experience
WHEN: Select Thursdays from Feb 9thto May 25th (refer to detailed schedule below)

DETAILS: You’ve got the foundation under your belt…you can build and command a basic robot and now you are looking for more! In this year’s spring robotics program, you will take your robotics skills to the next level. Working in a team of two, you will collaborate with your partner to build, program and execute a challenge with one of multiple LEGO Mindstorms projects you have to choose from. Project options include a standing Humanoid Robot that walks and talks, the SNATCHER autonomous robotic arm, and the Any six legged creature that uses an infrared sensor to detect objects! Students will have an opportunity to showcase their work at the Science Showcase in May!
CURRICULUM: Consists of eight 2 hour sessions where students will work on their project in a team of two using a step by step guide with support and guidance from the instructors. Additional instruction will be provided to a team or to the entire group as needed.
PARENTAL SUPPORT: Volunteers to help during each session and/or bring snacks for the group.

2) Registration forms may not be sent virtually by email to Mrs. Bazan/Mrs. Morgan (or to any parental teachers or teacher liaisons) – we can only receive hard-copy forms.
3) Mr. Fuerte will send all accepted registrants an email link to pay online.
