2008/2009 Snow Removal Procedures

The removal of snow from the roadways, parking areas, driveways and walkways will be done in

accordance with the following guidelines. Questions should be directed to Evergreen Management, Inc.

at 603/622-7000:

1. Four parking spaces located in the southwest corner of the south parking lot will be deemed a NO PARKING zone throughout the winter season. The contractor will need this area to pile snow.

2. For storms between 1.5 and 5 inches of precipitation.

·  The contractor will begin plowing before 3 inches of precipitation has accumulated.

·  All roadways will be kept open (no more than 3 inches of accumulation), though not necessarily to their full width to allow passage to the nearest public street throughout the storm.

·  Full cleanup shall begin at 11:00 AM the day after the storm. Full clean-up will consist of clearing of the parking lot, roadway, and walkways

3. For storms with greater than 5 inches of precipitation:

·  The contractor will begin plowing before 3 inches of precipitation has accumulated.

·  All roadways will be kept open (no more than 5 inches of accumulation), though not necessarily to their full width to allow passage to the nearest public street throughout the storm.

·  Full cleanup shall begin at 11:00 AM the day after the storm. Full clean-up will consist of clearing of the parking lot, roadway, and walkways.

4. It is imperative that all cars are removed from the parking lot by 11:00 AM the day after the storm for full clean-up. The contractor will be clearing the lower lot behind the library before 11:00 AM to allow residents to park their vehicles in this lot during the clean-up.

5. ANY VEHICLE FOUND BLOCKING SNOW REMOVAL OPERATIONS MAY BE TOWED, WITHOUT WARNING, AT THE VEHICLE OWNER'S EXPENSE.
