ARTS ENTERPRISE LAB

SPRING 2017 APPLICATION

The Arts Enterprise Lab is a partnership between the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts and the Center for Creative Economy. The Lab is designed to provide a safe place for members of the UNCSA and local communities to gather in a shared, self-directed learning environment to discover avenues of growth and change for the community, as well as their artistic endeavors.

Participants in the Lab will meet weekly for six weeks in late February/eary March, beginning the week of February 27, through early April 2017 to share experiences, discuss best practices, and develop strategies for success in your creative enterprises.

In addition, participants will have an opportunity to be mentored by leading creative entrepreneurs, practice pitching their ideas, and learn more about funding opportunities.

Lab members will also be eligible for a $1,000 seed grant to help move their enterprise forward.

Meetings will take place at the Creative Community Lab, 300 S. Liberty Street, Suite 150, Winston-Salem, NC, 27101.

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE POLLED TO DETERMINE THE MEETING DAY AND TIME AND MEETINGS WILL BEGIN THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 27.
