2018Arts & Crafts+ Civic Row Vendor Contract

All parties seeking space within the St. Pat’s in Five Points festival must read, sign and return the below application with their check and proof of insurance + business licenseby February 16, 2018. Booth spaces will be assignedon a priority basis and are first come, first served. You may request a particular space, but you are not guaranteed to get it.

General Rules and Regulations:

  • St. Pat’s in Five Points in its sole discretion shall have final approval over all products and the prices at which the products are sold.
  • Please conduct yourself in a respectable manner suitable for a festival with children and families. St. Pat’s in Five Points reserves the right to remove any signage deemed offensive within the festival grounds.
  • No mobile vending – no vendors will be permitted to sell outside of their assigned location during festival hours.
  • There will be NO REFUNDS in the event of inclement weather or cancellation after the application deadline (February 16, 2018).

Licenses:

  • Vendors must have a valid business license, and must send a copy of it along with proof of insurance with the signed application and payment.
  • Vendors are responsible for collection of salestax on items sold and must remit said taxes to the City of Columbia and SCDOR.

Set-Up, Electricity and Location:

  • Festival hours are from 9:00am – 7:00pm. Vendors will not be allowed to leave until 8pm OR when the Columbia Police Department gives the all clear.
  • You will not be able to enter the festival site and set up prior to 5:00am. Set up time is from 5:00am until 8:00am on Saturday March 17, 2018. Please note: festival staff will not be available for questions until 6:00am, so please be sure you are in your correct location if you plan to set up prior to that time. Your vehicle will be towed if it is still in the festival grounds after 8:00am. No exceptions. Gates officially open at 9:00am to the public.
  • The committee has determined the location of your spot based on festival needs.Your location is not negotiable on March 17, 2018.
  • All sales stop at 7:00pm. You cannot bring your vehicle into the festival grounds to break down until the Columbia Police Department has determined that it is safe.

Fire Marshal:

  • Fire Marshals will be on-site during the festival and all vendor set-ups must meet code.

General Release:

The undersigned does hereby release, acquit, and forever discharge the Five Points Foundation, its agents, its representatives, its employees, or contracted staff, of and from all manner of actions, suits, damages, claims and demands whatsoever in law or equity from any loss or damage of any nature of description, known or unknown, in any way relating to the undersigned participation in the Columbia, St. Pat’s in Five Points celebration. Non-compliance with any of the listed rules and regulations will result in being escorted out of the festival and end any future participation.

By signing this document, vendor acknowledges that they have received a copy of the St. Pat’s in Five Points Festival Vendor Contract, have read the regulations; understand its contents and how they will apply and agree to fully comply with the regulations.

Set up in advance and pre-approved by the Fire Marshal, this option provides: 10x10 tent, tent weights, one 8-foot table, and two chairs. LAZY CRAFT VENDORS ARE LOCATED ON DEVINE STREET ONLY. THERE IS NO POWER AVAILABLE ON DEVINE STREET.
