Terms and conditions for the ACCROBAOBAB ADVENTURE tree-top courses
I declare having read and approved the following terms and conditions :
The ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE tree-top course requires special attention to security measures :
- Access to the acrobatic course is for ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE clients only. Access is refused to non-clients or anyone that site staff and instructors may refuse to admit. Dogs are tolerated on the express condition that they are kept on a lead and that their owners clean up their dog'smess.
Access :
Adult adventure course : Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult on the site and on the course. In no event can a young person under 18 undertake the course alone without an accompanying adult. Minimum height for the adult course : 1m40
Children's adventure course : access is limited to children over 4 years and of maximum height of 1m40. Any child undertaking the children's course must be accompanied by a responsible adult on the ground throughout the whole course.
2. It is obligatory to use protective equipment provided by ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE : body harness, tether ropes, snap links, pulleys, etc. No personal equipment may be used on the site or during the activities.
3. Clothing suitable for outdoor activities is required for your safety :
long hair must be tied back
no scarves or necklaces
glasses must have a safety cord (to prevent them from falling)
people with body piercing are asked to inform the staff so that friction with the harness can be avoided.
4. Before starting on the course it is COMPULSORY for every participant, at all levels, to attend the briefing in handling the equipment and in individual safety techniques. This is required before access to any of the activities.
5. As a start, it is COMPULSORY to do the "Practice" course. In the event that difficulties are encountered while undertaking the Practice course, either in tackling the apparatus or in personal safety, the management offers a choice of solutions :
A. Individual accompaniment of the participant by an instructor (extra charge)
B. Immediate refund of the full payment.
6. Participants accept FULL RESPONSIBILITY for themselves whenthey have autonomous access to the ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE acrobatic course with the equipment supplied by the management.
7. Access is limited to 1 person at each activity, and to a maximum of 6 people on each platform.
8. Any client showing disregard of elementary safety measures necessary for such activity, or disrespect for the environment in the park, or behaviour contrary to the well-being of the staff or public will be required to leave the site immediately with no refund or compensation.
9. There is a STRICT NO SMOKING ban on the ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE acrobatic course. The use of cell phones is strictly prohibited while undertaking the course or when climbing.
10. The management accepts no responsibility for stolen or lost possessions in the park and the car park.
11. Participantsaccept that they must not undertake the course under the influence of alcohol or drugs or medication that could limit their awareness. Participants must be covered by civil liability insurance.
12. In the event of storms, heavy rain or exceptional circumstances, the management reserves the right to close the park.
13. These terms and conditions apply to the adventure course, to climbing activities in the baobab trees and to the baobab zip-lines.
When admitted to ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE activities, all participants implicitly agree and accept all these terms and conditions.
I agree to fully respect all the instructions and recommendations that are given to me by the staff of ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE.
I expressly relieve the ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE company and its staff of liability in the event of loss or damage of any sort as a result of my participation in any of the activities (adventure course, zip-lines, climbing) and thereby firmly renounce any claim against the ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE company. (If need be, this waiver may nevertheless not preclude the application of the ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE company's legal responsibility).
I declare and certify that I am in good health, that I am not undergoing any medical treatment and that I do not have any medical condition which is incompatible with undertaking these activities, e.g. (including but not limited to) epilepsy, pregnancy, slipped disc, heart condition, previous serious head injury, vertigo, cerebrovascular malformation, perception or balance problem.
The ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE company reserves the right to ban me from taking part in the activities if it considers that safety measures are not entirely covered or that my behaviour or my physical condition put myself or other people at risk. I agree not to use for commercial or media purposes any film, photo, sound recording or other recording of my activities in the park without the prior agreement of the ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE company.
ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE is covered by civil liability insurance. However every client, whether active or spectator, accepts civil liability for himself and for others.
I declare and certify that I am covered by a personal civil liability policy currently valid in Senegal : Yes………………….

If this is not the case :
I agree to subscribe to the required complementary civil liability insurance through ALLIANZ, the ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE company's broker, before undertaking the activities on site.
I agree, here and now and without any limit in time, that the ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE company may use any video recording or photo for media or commercial purposes. Unless otherwise specified, my details will be on file and I could therefore receive promotional mail from the ACCROBABOBAB ADVENTURE company or its partners.
