Excitement is building for the 5th Annual Les Dames d’Escoffier Cornucopia Auction. This year we are featuring all things CULINARY—adventures, experiences, tastings, education, gourmet gadgets and foods.
At the Atlanta Conference we will feature five live auction packages with values of $5,000 and up. Also new this year: the Blue Ribbon Ticket. The purchaser of the winning ticket will have the opportunity to claim any of the live auction items before the bidding begins. Tickets sell for $100 apiece. Purchasers need not be present to win, but must pre-select one of the items printed on the ticket. The odds of winning the Blue Ribbon Ticket prize is one in 100!
LDEI is an invitational organization of women leaders in food, beverage and hospitality whose mission is education, advocacy and philanthropy. The organization comprises 1500 women in 26 chapters across the United States and Canada. Members include leading chefs, restaurateurs, cookbook authors, journalists, wine professionals, culinary educators, hospitality executives and more.
Please help by completing the form and returning it with your logo and a picture of your donated item. This information will be placed online at the cMarket.com hosting site. When the auction closes, you will be sent the winner’s name and address and asked to forward your auction item directly to the winner.
The proceeds from the auction benefit LDEI’s Legacy Awards which provides career development opportunities for rising women in the food, beverage. and hospitality industries by pairing them with select mentor members. This year’s recipients include: Keri Levens, Head Sommelier at Restaurant Aquavit in New York, Emily Teel, food activist/chef, and Stacy Dixon, Marketing and Culinary Manager of Frontera Foods.
