QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Question #1: Please let us know when the belts and coolant were replaced on each unit.

Answer #1: Currently we do not have any reports on the replacement of coolants and belts.

Coolants and belts are replaced as needed.

Question #2: On page 3, Item 4 Cooling System, there is a requirement to add long-life anti-freeze as necessary. Since there is no way to know when it may be needed will you allow us to charge for this replacement when it is required?

Answer #2: A small amount of coolant will be supplied in each generator cabinet. If complete change out is required, add cost to deficiency list for the School Board’s review.

Question #3: On page 4, Item 10 Engine Test with Load, since this requires a transfer of commercial power to standby power from the generator, can this transfer be done during normal working hours?

Answer #3: Yes

Question #4: On page 4, Item 13 Transfer Switch, there is a requirement to assure all supply and load lines are tight. This will require all power to be shut off to the switch. Can this work be done during normal working hours?

Answer #4: Yes

Question #5: What materials are going to be supplied by the School Board?

Answer #5: The School Board will supply new belts and a small amount of coolant in each generator cabinet for vendors use if required. If supplied materials are used, make note on deficiency list.
