Commendations
Mrs. Hibbard commends:
• Joyce Favaloro and the Tioughnioga Riverside Academy Drama Club for their very clever and well-performed production of “And Then There Was One” on Friday, February 5, 2010. Please see attached.
• Mr. Hakes and his Participation in Government class for leading a project to send boxes to American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Students, teachers, administrators, parents, the American Legion and the US Post Office provided generous donations and support. They anticipate 35 boxes will be shipped to Whitney Point alumni who are currently serving overseas.
• Jacquelinn Bendick, Whitney Point High School Senior, for her signing to the University of Vermont for field hockey on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. Jacquelinn plans to attend the University of Vermont in the fall of 2010 to pursue a degree in Sports Medicine.
• Mr. Bruce Tytler for being appointed a member of the Council for the State University College at Cortland. Please see attached.
