Corruption is the enemy of the development and Good Governance. It must be got rid of. There is a great need to curb the menace of corruption in our country. Governance and Anti-corruption are now high priorities in the development agenda of any state. The challenge for us today is to continue developing better ways of tackling corruption, building on the growing understanding of the problem and on lessons of experience with reform.
Every citizen shall be obliged to fight against corruption, teach their children about moral values and evil effects of corruption. The duty of the youth is to challenge corruption. The citizens have a right to get their lawful work done by the public servants. The citizens and the Bureau can exchange views and interact in a meaningful way to build up a bull work to check corruption and pave the way for building a prosperous state. The information from the citizens on the corrupt public servants is a ladder to the development of the nation.
Purpose of this Charter is to work for better quality in Public Service with the co-operation and co-ordination of the Public.
1. Aim of the Bureau:
To promote honest and transparent conduct on the part of Government and Public Servants through effective enforcement of Anti-Corruption Laws in order to make legitimate services available to the citizen.
2. We deliver the following services:
a) Registration and investigation of complaints of corruption.
b) Enquire and recommend action on allegations of corruption against Government and Public Servants.
c) Advise and guide on internal vigilance in Government Departments.
d) Advise public on course of action on matters of corruption.
e) Public awareness programmes.
3. Our aim is to achieve the following service delivery:

Enquiries / 4 months / The delivery time is subject to nature of the case and circumstances developing during the course of enquiry/ investigation.Keeping in view the difficulties in the field level for completion of investigation of the Disproportionate Assets cases and also the various other important works apart from conducting investigation, the Bureau had proposed to the Government for enhancement of the standard time limit for service delivery in respect of completion of investigation of DA cases from the existing six months to one year. Orders are awaited.

6. Toll Free Number:
In order to facilitate easy access to the general public/citizens to prefer complaints on corruption and furnish source information about the corrupt officials to the Bureau, a short digit Toll Free No. 1064 was installed in the ACB Hqrs., Vijayawada. The callers on this number will not be charged and the call charges will be borne by the ACB. The above Toll Free No. will function 24 hours in all days.
7. Complaint redressal system:
Courteous and helpful service will be extended by all the staff. If you have any complaints to make with regard to delivery of the above standards you are welcome to register your complaints with the following officers.

8. Consultation with our users/stake holders.
* We welcome suggestions from citizens on matters of corruption through mails & correspondence.
* We welcome visitors at all our Units at all level.
* We interact with Schools/College children’s at their institutions.
9. As a part of combating corruption, the ACB has initiated several citizen centric and user friendly measures like installing a Toll Free No. 1064 for giving complaints on corruption among the public servants in the Govt. Departments/Corporations, printing of posters on Anti-Corruption, Anti Corruption messages on the Post office Saving Bank Pass Books, screening of short films on Anti Corruption, training to vigilance officers of various departments in Govt., conducting public awareness campaigns etc.
10. We seek your co-operation on the following, in
a) Your coming forward to give specific complaints on demand for illegal gratification by Government / Public servants for rendering official favour to lay traps on Toll Free No. 1064 installed in ACB Hqrs at Vijayawada
b) Your coming forward and giving definite/ reliable/ tangible information with regard to Disproportionate assets of Government / Public Servants. (Identity is kept Confidential) through e-mail to the ACB Officers.
c) Your coming forwarding to expose middlemen, brokers who promise to get works done through Government Officers / Public Servants to lay traps against them.
d) Your giving specific and definite information / particulars of corrupt practices by Government / Public Servants at Government Offices/Units .
- Let us join together in unearthing the corruption and safe guarding the society.
- Say ‘No’ to Corruption and help the ACB to serve the society.
- The difference between corrupt and honest person; The corrupt person has a “price” and the honest person has “value.”
