Further to your previous correspondence in respect of your request for information which we originally received on 24 October 2011, I can confirm in accordance with S.1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, that Powys teaching Health Board holds the information you asked for.

FOI Request

Please could you provide figures for the below questions for the year 2005 though to the current time by year with regards to patients with diabetes (type 1 and 2).

1. The number of referrals from primary to secondary care for

patients with diabetes. If possible separating out type 1 and type 2, if not then as a total/year.

2. Admissions to hospital due to hypoglycaemia. If possible

separating out type 1 and type 2, if not then as a total/year.

3. Total admissions for patients with diabetes.

4. Mean length of stay for patients all diabetes admissions

5. Total bed days for all diabetes admissions.
