Long Term Planning for Next Steps

Outcomes:

Participants will:

·  Self evaluate current classroom practice or current team/school practice in reading and writing instruction

·  Plan some next steps from evaluated needs

·  Review a vision for the elements of a literacy program, curriculum development, as well as assessment, evaluation and reporting and begin to reflect on next steps for the school.

·  Read, discuss, and reflect on how to facilitate professional study groups

·  Plan for future learning
