INDIVIDUAL SERVICE POSITIONS

CARRY THE MESSAGE – Print and distribute flyers to meetings in District 54 and Area 4, publish in Al-Anouncer, district website etc.

PROGRAM BULLETIN – Design and print programs for distribution at event

AL-ANON SONGBIRDS – Fearless Al-Anons to lead karaoke sing-along onstage and/or participate in short a capella song.

‘RELAX, LET GO’ DANCERS – Fearless Al-Anons to demonstrate simple 3 minute stretch routine on stage.

GROUP COMMITMENTS

CHAIRS: Borrow, delivery and return 50 chairs for event

CLEAN UP & RESTROOM PATROL – Monitor restrooms during event. At conclusion of Alathon restore facility to original condition by putting away chairs, tables, trash, etc. (some labor required)

GAMES – Facilitate simple game play (putting golf & darts), collect tickets, coordinate cash with District Treasurer

GREETERS – Welcome arrivals with smiles/hugs, direct to Registration.

HOSPITALITY – Collect drink tickets, stock hospitality table with goodies and baddies, monitor table during event

ICE & COLD DRINKS – Supply ice and cold drinks for delivery to event.

KITCHEN – Supply coffee and hot water at 7:00am for setup crew, monitor potluck items being dropped off and replenish drinks, coffee, hot water and ice during the day. Restore kitchen to original condition at conclusion of event.

LUNCHEON – Set up tables for potluck, display food items, assist serving and cleaning by clearing tables, washing utensils, containers etc.

MARATHON MEETINGS – Create topics and assign leaders for 4 meetings

RAFFLE BASKETS – Collect raffle baskets (w/itemized list of contents) from all meetings in District 54. Sell tickets and facilitate drawings onstage.

REGISTRATION & DRINK SALES – Collect entrance fees from arrivals, sell drink tickets and provide name tags (incl. special tags for long timers and speakers). Coordinate cash with District Treasurer.

SET-UP – Assist with layout of Alathon rooms, arrive at 7am to coordinate placement of tables, chairs, trash cans etc. (some labor involved)

SIGNS – Create and display signs (both indoor and outdoor) at site.

SUPPLIES – Review inventory, purchase and deliver supplies for hospitality, luncheon and restrooms. Return, donate or store leftover supplies.

WHITE ELEPHANT – Collect and deliver gift wrapped, gently used items to be used as game prizes
